Police searching for suspect in Scarborough robbery

Toronto police have released a photo of a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery in Scarborough last month.

It happened on June 21, just after 8:30 p.m., at a business near Kingston Road and Morningside Avenue.

According to police, the suspect entered a store at that point and “selected an item.”

The suspect then attacked an employee and fled the store with the item, police said.

It is unclear what injuries the employee sustained.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his early twenties with a slim build and brown curly hair.
