Troutman Pepper and Locke Lord Secure Merger with Partner Vote

Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders and Locke Lord have officially agreed to merge, effective January 1, 2025, following a firmwide partnership vote held today, a spokesperson for the companies confirmed to American Lawyer.

The two Am Law 100 firms, now merging as Troutman Pepper Locke, have intention to merge in Aprilwhich aims to enter the echelons of the Am Law 50 through the combination. Summarizing the firms’ 2023 performance, the firms generated combined revenues of more than $1.5 billion, with a staff of just over 1,600 attorneys across 35 offices in the United States and Europe.
