Dump truck removes cable lines in Guelph

Repairs were being made Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. after a dump truck swept away cables in Guelph.

Photos from the scene show the vehicle with cables tied to its raised bed on Woodlawn Road near Woolwich Street.

According to police, there were initially fears that the cables were electrical wires, but they turned out to belong to Rogers.

The 64-year-old driver has been charged with reckless driving.

According to police, there were no injuries.
