British Columbia Gas: Where can you find the cheapest fuel in Burnaby right now?

It appears that motorists in Burnaby have fairly consistent pricing options no matter where they stop for gas in the city.

The cheapest gasoline in Burnaby has dropped by as much as seven cents in the past week.

The Super Save Gas on 6th Street is currently offering $1.74 per gallon — seven days after the most expensive fuel in the city posted a price tag of $1.81 per gallon, according to the latest report from GasBuddy.com (see list below).

That’s four cents more than Metro Vancouver’s cheapest fuel: $1.70 a litre at Super Save Gas on 200 Street in Langley.

However, motorists in Burnaby can more often use local pumps, regardless of which product they prefer.

The average price in the city is $1.77 per liter, at the time of this publication (August 9), which is one cent less than the $1.78 of last Friday, August 2.

The most affordable price in British Columbia is about 85 km east of Burnaby: $1.61 per litre at several locations in Chilliwack.
