Sask. man killed in highway collision

A 67-year-old Battleford man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 687 north of Denholm.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, officers, firefighters and paramedics responded to a collision between a truck and a car, the RCMP said.

The driver and sole occupant of a car was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified.

According to the police, the truck driver was injured and taken to hospital. His life is not in danger.

Officers from the Battlefords Unit are investigating along with a Saskatchewan RCMP collision analyst.

Denholm is located approximately 112 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
