Suspect in Gatineau hit-and-run wanted by police

Gatineau police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision earlier this week.

Police were called to the intersection of Rue de l’Alliance and Boulevard de la Gappe around 11 a.m. on Monday after a driver hit a pedestrian.

According to the police, the victim, a 94-year-old woman, was not in mortal danger. However, the suspect did not remain at the scene.

Police are now looking for the driver of a late model black Kia Sorento.
