Global aircraft parts companies pay .5 million for Tempe plant

PHOENIX – Two affiliated global aircraft parts companies recently paid $27.5 million for an industrial building in Tempe.

Chicago-based Setna iO and Setnix bought the 112,300-square-foot property near 52nd Street and Broadway Road.

Setna iO is a supplier of aftermarket aircraft parts and Setnix focuses on machining and repairing high-tech aircraft parts

Phoenix-based Citywide Commercial represented the buyers in the deal. LBA Logistics, represented by Cushman & Wakefield, sold the building.

“This new facility enables Setna iO and Setnix to significantly expand their local repair and distribution capabilities and continue their continued growth and commitment to innovation,” Todd Hamilton, managing partner of Citywide Commercial, said in a press release Tuesday.

The recently renovated building features 32-foot ceilings, 10 drive-in doors and modern office space on a 9-acre site with nearly 500 parking spaces.

The property is located a few blocks north of Interstate 10, just minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

“The aerospace market in the Phoenix metro area has experienced tremendous growth, making Tempe a perfect market for these two companies to continue to thrive,” Hamilton said.
