New portable toilets installed at Downtown Pedestrian Mall – NTV

The City of St. John’s has installed new portable toilets for visitors to the Downtown Pedestrian Mall. Two portable accessible toilets and a hand wash station are available during the operating hours of the Downtown Pedestrian Malls at the corner of Harbour Drive and Ayres Cove.

The portable toilets will remain in place until the Downtown Pedestrian Mall closes next month.

The City of St. John’s will maintain the facilities on a regular basis. The installation of the portable toilets is being conducted on a trial basis and will be evaluated to determine the most appropriate solution for toilet access on the Downtown Pedestrian Mall.
