Fabrizio Romano says West Ham could sign £12m player after signing Crysencio Summerville

The East London club are indeed in need of a new striker and according to Fabrizio Romano, speaking to Playback, a new striker could be on the way after Summerville.

The journalist says that Niclas Fullkrug is a player that West Ham are in negotiations with and that the player could very well be the next signing at the London Stadium after Summerville.

Romano revealed what he knows about the £12million man.

‘Fullkrug was mentioned in the rumours about Milan, but there was never any agreement,’ said Romano.

“Milan are working on Tammy Abraham as their new striker. Fullkrug are in negotiations with West Ham, an agreement with the player and negotiations with West Ham and Dortmund are ongoing for Fullkrug who could become the new striker after they sign Crysencio Summerville.”

West Ham’s attack could be scary

If West Ham can sign both Fullkrug and Summerville, they could have one of the most fearsome attacking line-ups in the Premier League.

Jarrod Bowen and Mohamed Kudus are already among the best players in the Premier League, and Summerville was arguably the best player in the Championship last season.

Meanwhile, Fullkrug recently played in the Champions League final and also impressed at the 2024 European Championship.

The German striker could be the final piece in a very exciting attacking jigsaw puzzle being put together at the London Stadium.

West Ham could well be an outsider next season under the leadership of Julen Lopetegui and secure another European ticket.

There is every reason to be excited about what West Ham are building at the moment.
