Guhle became the third defenceman to sign a new contract with the Canadiens this week, joining Justin Barron and Arber Xhekaj. Guhle has been the most productive of the three, posting 22 points (six goals, 16 assists) in 70 games last season with 178 blocks and 116 hits. The 22-year-old, a first-round pick in 2020, has 40 points (10 goals, 30 assists) in 114 games for his career.
