BALTIMORE – Baltimore Orioles top prospect Jackson Holliday met the young fan who had his first home run in the major leagues ball.

The Orioles posted a video on social media showing Holliday trading a baseball bat for the ball that landed on Eutaw Street Wednesday afternoon.

The young fan had one question for the Orioles rookie at second base: “How was the Gatorade?”

“It was cold,” Holliday replied.

Orioles teammates threw the Gatorade bucket over Holliday after their 10-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Holliday hit a bases-loaded home run in the fifth inning, 430 feet (132 m). It was his first at-bat in 39 major league games.

He was recalled on Wednesday and was listed as eighth in the batting order, his second stint with the Orioles this season.
