Ready, Set, Jumpstart – Our Communities

On July 25, 639 children participated in the annual Winnipeg Jumpstart Games at Sinclair Park Community Centre (490 Sinclair St.) in the North End.

Hosted by Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and BGC Winnipeg (formerly known as Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg), the day featured a jam-packed program of outdoor games, giveaways and a barbecue lunch. It was put together to commemorate this year’s participation in the CSI Summer Learning Program, a free, five-week educational program aimed at combating the loss of accessible learning and recreation during the summer months.

All activities – both in the Winnipeg Jumpstart Games and in the CSI program – were facilitated by volunteers.
