One person seriously injured in North York crash: EMS

One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in North York Saturday morning, emergency services said.

Emergency services were called to the area of ​​Don Mills Road and Gateway Boulevard at 11:05 a.m. for a collision.

Police said two vehicles were involved and a lamppost was struck and toppled.

Toronto Paramedics Services told CP24 that a man was rushed to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

A second man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is not yet known and police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
