Toronto Marlies re-sign Zach Solow

The Toronto Marlies have re-signed Zach Solow to an AHL contract, Tony Androckitis announced Saturday.

Solow, a native of Naples, Fla., spent last season with the Marlies. In 66 regular-season games, he scored 11 goals and added 15 assists for 26 points. Solow also appeared in three playoff games, recording two assists.

Solow turned pro at the end of the 2020-21 season and has played in 122 regular-season AHL games, collecting 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points in that time.

With the 2023-24 season marking the first of Solow’s professional career that will see him not spend time in the ECHL, he’s emerged as a solid role player for the Marlies. Now entering his second season with the team, he should see an expanded role and become a regular on a nightly basis.
