Woman sexually assaulted on GO bus from Aldershot to Hamilton – bayobserver.ca Hamilton, Burlington and GTA

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) – Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit is asking the public for assistance in identifying a male suspect responsible for sexually abusing an adult female at the Go Station in Aldershot, Burlington.

Last Thursday at approximately 10:10am, the suspect approached a woman at the bus stop at Aldershot GO station. The suspect engaged the victim in conversation before rubbing the victim’s arm and playing with her hair. The victim and suspect boarded the same bus #17 to Hamilton, where the suspect sat down next to the victim and sexually assaulted her.

The victim suffered no physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a male, brown, 60-70 years old; approximately 5’ 6” tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray cap, sunglasses, a blue polo shirt under a gray hoodie, black pants, and open sandals. The suspect was carrying a black and copper colored walking stick and a light blue and black backpack.
