“At Arajet we are committed to making the Dominican Republic the new air hub of the continent and very soon we will add other destinations that will fly from Punta Cana, such as Buenos Aires, Quito, Guayaquil, Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena with the most competitive prices in the market,” said CEO and founder of Arajet Victor Pacheco Mendez in a press release.

In addition, Pacheco Mendez indicated that the basis at Las Americas International Airport (LAIA), near Santo Domingo, will continue to fly as usual and many destinations served by Arajet will be served from both airports.

“Our goal is for all Arajet passengers to have as many options and destinations as possible. In Mexico or Colombia, for example, we fly from both airports and maintain a daily bus service between travelers over land to increase the number of possible connections,” he said.

Punta Cana Airport will be Arajet’s third destination in the Dominican Republic. In addition to LAIA, the airline maintains regular flights to Cibao International and is investigating the possibility of adding flights from Puerto Plata Airport.
