WestJet has announced that it will double its direct flights between Toronto and Kelowna for the upcoming winter season.

WestJet’s expanded flight schedule now includes the following nonstop flights between Toronto and Kelowna:

Toronto to Kelowna:

  • Sunday, Friday: 20:40 – 22:38
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 09:00 – 11:03 am

Kelowna to Toronto:

  • Sunday, Friday: 23:35 – 06:35
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 11:55 – 19:18

“We are very pleased with WestJet’s decision to double its nonstop service between Toronto and Kelowna,” said Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President of Big White Ski Resort.

“This improvement in connectivity is a game-changer for Big White Ski Resort and the entire Okanagan region. The increased capacity not only makes it easier for our guests from Eastern Canada to visit, but it also reinforces Kelowna’s status as a premier winter destination,” Ballingall added.

WestJet says the additions aim to create more flexibility for travelers.

“By offering more seats and affordable fares across our network, we’re giving Canadians choice and flexibility this winter,” said John Weatherill, executive vice president of WestJet Group.

Until September 2, residents and visitors can visit Big White for hiking, downhill mountain biking, and scenic chairlift rides.
