PRAYER: Father of Love & the Outcome Dies While Visiting Couple in Winnipeg

Christian singing couple Jodi King and Chris Rademaker of Love & the Outcome recently came to Winnipeg on vacation, just in time to say goodbye to their father.

“He was admitted to the cardiac ICU the day we arrived in Winnipeg and never came out,” the band said on Instagram. “We didn’t get a chance to say a prayer, it happened so fast.”

The couple, originally from Manitoba, have been living in Tennessee for years to pursue their dream of singing Christian music for a living. The two came to Winnipeg with their sons last Thursday for a visit. It was the same day that Rademaker’s father, Bill, suffered a heart attack.

“Many of you may have met him over the years, he drove our bus and always said he was a “roadie for Jodi”. If you ever met Daddy Rad, you know he gave the most epic hugs and became your instant friend.”

The couple is asking for prayers for the family, who are grieving not only the loss of their father, but also the grandfather of the two boys.

“Ziggy keeps asking if Grandpa is getting better, and Milo cries and sits on his thinking rock. We are heartbroken and can’t imagine life without Dad, Grandpa. So thankful we could be here and hold his hand and say goodbye.”

Love & the Outcome recently announced on social media that they are returning to work as an indie artist and releasing music independently.
