LCC Arajet to serve Punta Cana from Toronto and Montreal

To expand winter capacity to the Dominican Republic, Arajet has announced that flights to Punta Canada will operate from both Toronto (YYZ) and Montreal (YUL) starting October 27.

One-way trips with this budget airline start at CAD $165 (USD $120), including taxes.

“At Arajet we are committed to making the Dominican Republic the new air hub of the continent and very soon we will add other destinations that will fly from Punta Cana, such as Buenos Aires, Quito, Guayaquil, Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena with the most competitive prices in the market,” said CEO and founder of Arajet Victor Pacheco Mendez.

Arajet currently flies from YYZ and YUL to Santo Domingo (SDQ), with connections to 18 destinations in North and South America.

The airline said it is exploring the possibility of adding flights to Puerto Plata International Airport in the near future.
