Tyler Fleming | Versatile Journalist | CTV News Ottawa

Tyler Fleming is a multidisciplinary journalist at CTV News Ottawa, contributing content to television, radio and digital platforms.

Tyler is looking forward to being in front of the camera as a multi-disciplinary journalist and sharing stories about the community where he was born and raised.

Tyler joined CTV in 2001 and worked behind the scenes in various technical roles. In 2003, he moved to the Creative Services department as a video editor, where he composed commercials for clients and created promotional content for the news.

Tyler graduated from Algonquin College’s television program and later transitioned into news, as a videographer and editor, covering local and national stories in Ottawa and the Valley. He is part of a team that has received multiple awards from the Radio and Television Digital News Association, most notably a Hugh Haugland Award for Creative Use of Video.

In his spare time he can be found outdoors, biking, skiing, hiking and exploring the wilderness of Canada, and camping with his family.

Tyler speaks English and French.
