Ottawa teacher charged with sexually abusing minors

Ottawa police have charged a local teacher with sexually abusing minors.

They say the attacks have been happening at programs and schools in Ottawa since 2019.

According to police, the 37-year-old teacher has been charged with sexual assault, voyeurism, sexual exploitation and telecommunications with a person under the age of 18 for a specific offense.

He is due to appear in court on Saturday.

Investigators believe there are more victims.
