Crash sends 5 to hospital: TPS

Several people were injured after a car collided with a work truck on Highway 400 Saturday morning.

According to the Toronto Fire Department, the collision occurred at Black Creek Drive, Highway 400 N and Jane Street at 7:45 a.m.

A message to X from Toronto police said four occupants were trapped in the vehicle and five people were taken to hospital.

The northbound Jane St ramp to Highway 400 is currently closed and police are advising motorists to consider alternative routes.

The Ontario Department of Traffic Safety is on the scene.
