Saskatoon still struggling with aftermath of IT outage

The global IT outage that occurred early yesterday morning is still impacting public transit in Saskatoon and some telephone lines.

The city says it has restored incoming phone lines for Saskatoon Transit and Access Transit, as well as mobile ticket purchasing on the Transit and TGo apps, but real-time bus location updates on the Transit app are still not available, nor are service notifications for Saskatoon Transit detours and disruptions. Determined as a separate issue, and not caused by the outage, incoming phone lines for Leisure Centres and Outdoor Pools should also be restored. A further update will be provided once the systems are restored.
