I’m Jennifer (Jen) Queen. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about myself and my team! I grew up in the small town of Kenora, Ontario and was educated in Winnipeg. I have developed a unique blend of small town charm and city smarts. From a young age, I was a classic overachiever, focused on personal goals and success. I was always trying to rally the neighborhood kids to join me in my next business venture, whether it was a lemonade stand, a flower sale, or a car wash to raise money for our graduation party!

University in Winnipeg was equal parts culture shock and personal growth. Surrounded by students and faculty from a variety of backgrounds, with equally diverse interests, I quickly learned that enjoying life itself was just as important as personal success. It was a real eye-opener. Today, life makes me laugh.

I received my Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. I have since earned my MBA in Marketing (also from the University of Manitoba) to further enhance my real estate marketing skills. I have always believed that if you are not getting better, you are getting worse – which is why I continue to invest in these educational courses. I currently mentor new agents at RE/MAX professionals, which allows me to pass on much of what I have learned over the years while also honing my skills.

I’ve spoken positively about my college experience above, but the best part of college was reconnecting with and falling in love with one of my old high school classmates, Logan, who had also moved to Winnipeg from Kenora. Logan also holds a real estate agent license and is a member of the Jennifer Queen Team. You’ll often find us working as a team for our signature Open Houses. When we’re not working, we’re spending time with our beautiful and busy kids, Everly and Blaine, or maybe even hitting the “links.”

With my family as my backbone, I keep them at the forefront of my mind during every real estate transaction. My team and I all believe in the Golden Rule – Treat others as I would want my family to be treated. Because of this, I believe my relationships connect with me, trust me, and follow me every time. Real estate is a relationship business. You can have all the experience and education you want, but if people can’t relate to you, it’s not the right career choice for you. With two young children at home and a hardworking husband by my side, I understand that family life can be hectic and the buying and selling process can be stressful enough. These decisions carry a lot of weight when you’re making them on behalf of your loved ones. That’s why the entire journey is so important, not just the end result. I want you to have a “First Class” experience throughout the entire process.
