Born and raised in Calgary, Ian is honored to report on the news in his hometown every weekday.

Ian graduated from SAIT’s news program and worked across Canada, in Alberta, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick, before joining CTV in Calgary.

Over the years, he has interviewed hundreds of people who have had an impact on our community: from prime ministers, mayors to musicians, writers, athletes, business leaders, medical experts and, most importantly, everyday people.

He has also reported live from many provincial and federal elections.

Ian from Calgary knows the city’s neighborhoods well. He can tell you where every hockey arena in the city is and a nearby coffee shop.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his wife Kathleen and children Dylan, Bridget and Griffin.
