Vancouver Weather: High temperatures expected to return

In the 7-day weather forecast: Temperatures are expected to rise again.

According to the Vancouver weather forecast, there will be more sunshine and higher temperatures this weekend.

Heat warnings and air quality advisories are no longer in effect for the Lower Mainland. A ridge of high pressure that has been trapping warm air from the south and blocking other systems began moving toward Alberta on Wednesday.

Temperatures have dropped since Friday, July 12, but are still several degrees above the seasonal average.

VIA’s Trout Lake Weatherhood station in Vancouver shows a daily high of 25 C and a low of 16 C (see slide two) for Friday. Average daily highs are around 21.6 C and lows around 13 C, according to Environment Canada’s historical climate data.

A maximum temperature of 25°C is expected for Saturday, with a slightly warmer minimum temperature of 17°C at night. A slightly cooler maximum temperature of 24°C is expected for Sunday during the day.

Vancouver forecast includes rising temperatures heading into the weekend

After the weekend, a maximum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius is forecast for Monday, after which temperatures will rise again.

The weather forecast for Trout Lake on Tuesday is 26°C, while the maximum temperature on Wednesday could reach 28°C.

According to the forecast for Thursday, the maximum temperature is currently 29 degrees Celsius, which is at the highest warning criterion. However, this forecast can still change, as it is still almost a week away.

To meet the criteria for public health risks, daytime temperatures must be around 29°C and around 16°C.

The remainder of July shows an above-average signal, although the long-range forecast does not show individual weather events. Vancouver typically experiences its warmest temperatures towards the end of July and into August.
