Investigation into Finsbury Park murder launched after 19-year-old man stabbed to death

A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in north London last night. The alarm was raised just before 3am on Thursday 11th July. Police found the victim in Finsbury Park, where he died at the scene.

A crime scene remains in place on Stroud Green Road, at the junction with Tollington Park.




His relatives have been informed.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Where it happened

The 19-year-old was stabbed on Stroud Green Road, at the junction of Tollington Park. The road is just above Finsbury Park and Finsbury Park Station, making it a major commuter route. In the other direction, the road leads to Crouch End and Muswell Hill. A crime scene is still in place on Stroud Green Road.
