Motorcycle crash on Cook Street sends driver to hospital

A motorcyclist is recovering in hospital from serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a crash on Cook Street on Monday evening.

Victoria Police collision analysts are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after the single-vehicle incident in the 3000 block of Cook Street just before 10:30 p.m.

Cook Street between Cedar Hill Road and Finlayson Street was closed for several hours while police investigated.

BC Emergency Health Services paramedics transported the motorcyclist to hospital.

Police believe the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Cook Street.
